State Associations

Each Australian State or Territory has its own wound care association.

These associations are either separate associations in their own right that support AWMA or branches of AWMA (in the Northern Territory’s case).  Regardless of the state association you join, your membership to that state will automatically provide you with membership to AWMA inclusive of AWMA membership benefits. This includes attending AWMA meetings, as well as voting and running for elective office on the AWMA committee and subcommittees (dependent on membership status, see AMWA Constitution).
