Janet Vincent Education Scholarship

Janet Vincent was a long standing AWMA(SA) committee member who was dedicated to providing care to individuals with a wound. At all times, Janet strived to make a positive difference and actively taught and guided her colleagues. It was with great sadness that AWMA(SA) lost a valuable member and friend with Janet’s unexpected and sudden death on 8th December 2007. In recognition and remembrance of such a vibrant, passionate and loving member and friend, AWMA(SA) is offering the “Janet Vincent Education Scholarship”.

The 2016 Janet Vincent Education Scholarship provided funds to the total value of $3,200 to AWMA(SA) members to a maximum value of $1,000 each.

SAWMA(SA) congratulates the following recipients:

• Ereena Torpey – Contribution to fees for the Graduate Certificate in Wound Management
• Tabatha Rando – Registration to the EWMA conference
• Bronwyn Dal Santo – Contribution to attendance at the 2016 AWMA/Wounds Australia national conference
• Jenny Dale – Contribution to attendance at the 2016 AWMA/Wounds Australia national conference

Scholarships for wound management courses/studies 2014 – 2015

AWMA(SA) provided funds for members to the value of $1,000 each towards completion of a wound management course or studies.

Wound Awareness Week 2014 Competition

AWMA(SA) members were eligible to win a package worth up to $3,500 to attend the AWMA National Conference 7-10 May on the Gold Coast.
