Course Synopsis: The Courses consist of two parts: A theoretical 3 day course and individual training sessions at the diabetic foot clinic of the University Hospital of Pisa. The courses are based on the knowledge and the unique structure of treatment offered by the specialised diabetic foot clinic at the University Hospital of Pisa, established in 1989. By combining lectures from different specialists and individual training in the clinic, course participants will gain insight in to both the theory of the field and the practical methods used in the clinic.

Target Audience: The courses are open to anyone involved in the treatment or management of diabetic foot patients, but the primary target groups are: Clinicians with various professions (e.g. endocrinologists, vascular and orthopaedic surgeons, specialised nurses, chiropodists or podiatrists); Newly appointed managers with an interest in the development of the structure of treatment within the diabetic foot area; Other health care professionals.

Registration: For registrations made before 1 August 2020 a 10 % discount is given.
