Wound Practice and Research
Request for Submissions
The Joint Editors of your journal, Wound Practice and Research, request all members to give high priority to the journal for your case reports, original research, reviews and clinical practice articles. This is the premier journal in our region and amongst the best in the world- but it needs you submissions to thrive and further develop. As well as being a go-to journal for established researchers and clinicians, this is a great opportunity for those beginning their publication career. Well-structured case studies/series in particular are usually accepted after the review process, and allow you to share your observations and practices, add to you publication list and even be judged for the $1000 Coloplast Biatain Literary Award.
The journal website is accessible through the AWMA website and once you have an article in mind, or ready, go there for additional information and also to begin the submission process.
The review process is rapid and most accepted articles are published within 3 months of submission. The Joint Editors will on request pair you with an experienced clinician /researcher to mentor you though the preparation and submission processes. We all have great ideas and observations- and many of us conduct literature reviews and research in the course of our profession- here is a superb opportunity to be published and share this wisdom. We need you!
