Constitution

SAWMA incorporated its first Constitution in the early 1990’s. Since then the Constitution was amended in the mid 1990’s and, more recently in 2010.

With the move for all Australian State and Territory wound management Associations to align themselves more closely with the national body (AWMA) a name change for the Association was endorsed at the 2011 SAWMA AGM. The new name is:

Australian Wound Management Association (South Australia) Incorporated
aka: AWMA (SA)

The AWMA(SA) Constitution was amended most recently in 2012. Minor changes were made regarding membership to reflect our closer alignment with the national body, which will continue to strengthen wound management initiatives both in South Australia and nationally.
