Q1. How do I obtain copies of the Standards for Wound Management (Standards) and/or Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prediction and Prevention of Pressure Ulcers (PU Guidelines)?

Q2. Are the Standards and/or PU Guidelines available electronically or on-line?

Q3. When were the Standards and/or PU Guidelines published and/or how do I reference them?

Q1. How do I obtain copies of the Standards for Wound Management (Standards) and/or Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prediction and Prevention of Pressure Ulcers (PU Guidelines)?

A1. Order forms can be downloaded from the AWMA Website on the “Publications Page”. Once on this page click on the relevant order form, print and send off with your cheque or money order.

Please Note: AWMA does not directly handle the Standards and Guidelines ordering process as this is managed by the publisher Cambridge Media. Enquiries regarding ordering should be directed to Cambridge Media in the first instance.

Q2. Are the Standards and/or PU Guidelines available electronically or on-line?

A2. Yes. The Standards and PU Guidelines are available electronically on the AWMA Website.

The printing of these documents is for individual use only and multiple copies should not be made. If you require multiple copies; the documents can be ordered in hard copy by using the order forms which can be downloaded from this AWMA Website Publications Page. These documents are sold at a cost that covers the costs of printing and distribution.

A4. You need to apply in writing to the AWMA Committee. You will need to include the following information:
• Your Organisation
• Your name and position
• The Document you wish to reproduce from.
• The specific section and contents you wish to reproduce.
• What (if any) alterations you intend to make.
• How/where will the information will be used.
