Q1. When/where is the next AWMA Conference?

A1. Information regarding the next AWMA conference can be found on the “AWMA Conference Page” located in the Conference Section in the Left-Hand Menu then click the “AWMA Conference” Submenu.

Q2. When/where is my next State/Territory Wound Conference?

A2. Individual States /Territories organise their own State/Territory Association Conferences.

State/Territory Associations advertise their upcoming Conferences on the “State Association Conference Page” located in the Conference Section in the Left-Hand Main Menu.

States/Territories may also advertise their upcoming Conferences on their own website. Details for the individual State/Territory Associations can be found here.

Q3. How can I find out about other Wound Management Related Conferences?

A3. Other Wound Management related Conferences are often advertised on the “Other Conferences Page” located in the Conference Section.

AWMA provides this information as a service to its members and the public. Unless otherwise noted AWMA holds no responsibility for the organisation or program content of these Conferences, or the validity of the information listed on the site.

AWMA is unable to comment regarding any other conference not listed on this site.

A4. Information regarding courses can be obtained from the AWMA Website on the “Education Page”.

Q5. Can AWMA recommend a particular course or conference to attend?

A5. AWMA can not recommend specific conferences or courses. Health professionals are encouraged to review the program structure and content of the courses they wish to attend, and gauge the value of the course / conference on its merits.

A6. AWMA does not run wound management courses.

Q7. How can I advertise a wound course or conference?

A7. AWMA will advertise most courses or conferences that are of relevance to its members free of charge. AWMA will consider requests for advertising of courses conducted by the Wound Care Industry (those involved in the manufacture or distribution of wound and related products) on a case by case basis.

To advertise a course or conference you will need to send the following information to the Website Manager :
• Course/Conference Name:
• Hosting Organisation or Company:
• Date/s: (if no set date advise further):
• Time:
• Location (i.e. City): (advise if distance education, and location of base)
• Venue:
• Brief Conference / Course Synopsis:
• Target Audience:
• Contact Person/s and Details:
• Include relevant Website Links (if applicable)
• Also include copies (PDF preferable) of the full conference/course information and registration documents if you require them included on the AWMA Website.

It is the responsibility of the hosting organisation to ensure that their information is correct and up to date. Old conferences and courses will be periodically removed from the site.
