Q1. How do subscribe to the Journal?

A1. The Journal can be subscribed to directly with subscription details located on the AWMA Website here. Contact the Editor of Wound Practice and Research for more information PIeditor@amwa.com.au.

The other way to subscribe to the Journal is to join the AWMA either directly or through a local State/Territory Association.

You are encouraged to join a local State/Territory Association as this will give you membership benefits for both your State/Territory as well as membership of AWMA (inclusive of AWMA membership benefits). Subtly each State/Territory has different processes regarding membership as well as different fee structures. Information as well as relevant membership forms can be found for each State on the AWMA Website here (once at this page select the link to the State of your choice).

Alternatively you may also chose to be a direct member of AWMA. To do this you will need to download the Direct AWMA membership application form from the website here.
• NB: Direct AWMA Membership will not provide you with State/Territory Membership benefits.

Further information regarding membership can be obtained from the:
• AWMA Membership Secretary E mail membership@awma.com.au
• Or by contacting your local State/Territory Association. Details are listed on the State Pages here (once at this page select the link to the State of your choice).

Q2. Is journal subscription provided with membership to AWMA or a State/Territory Association?

A2. Yes. Members of AWMA (whether joining directly or via a State/Territory Association) automatically receive the Journal as part of their membership fee.

Q3. I have not received my Journal.

A3. AWMA advises all new members that it may take up to 12 weeks before you receive your first Journal. This is due to the fact that the Journal is only published quarterly; therefore depending on when your membership was received and then processed you may have missed a mail out deadline.

If you are an existing member and have stopped receiving your Journal please consider the following before making contact: is your membership of AWMA through:
• A State/Territory Association or
• Direct to AWMA

AWMA does not manage individual membership of the Association, unless you are a Direct Member of AWMA. In most cases membership of AWMA is through a State/Territory Association with each State having responsibility for their own members.

If your membership of AWMA is through a State/Territory Association you will need to contact your State/Territory Membership Officer or Secretary. Contact details can be found here (once at this page select the link to the State of your choice).

However if you are a direct member of AWMA you will need to contact the AWMA Membership Secretary:
• AWMA Membership Secretary E mail membership@awma.com.au

If you are not a member of AWMA, but merely have a subscription to the Journal, you will need to contact the publishers:
sandrac@cambridgemedia.com.au
