AWMRF - Past Grant Recipients

In 2008 the Australian Wound Management Research Foundation (AWMRF) called for it inaugural research scholarship grants. These grants were awarded at the AWMA Conference in Darwin in May 2008.

2008 Grant Recipients

In 2008 the grants provided totalled $10000, with two AWMRF scholarships awarded at the AWMA Conference in Darwin in May 2008.

The recipients and projects were:

Grant 1:
Professor Zee Upton and Mr James Broadbent, Queensland University of technology for project titled:
'iTRAQing proteins in chronic leg ulcer wound fluid over time from patients undergoing clinical hyperbaric oxygen therapy'.

Ms Jillian Swaine, Curtin University of Technology and University of Western Australia for project titled:
'A pilot study to determine factors that are associated with the development of sitting acquired pressure ulcers following spinal cord injury'
