AWMA BIDS FOR WUWHS

The AWMA Committee has decided to bid to bring the WUWHS  (World Union of Wound Healing Societies)  meeting back to Australia.

After the successful inaugural meeting in Melbourne in 2000, and subsequent well- attended 4 yearly meetings in Paris and Toronto, it is time to have the meeting return to the southern hemisphere and to our country which has one of the most active wound healing associations in the world. The next meeting is in Yokohama in 2012 and the 2016 venue will be decided there.

AWMA has chosen Brisbane as the bid city for 2016, and will be well supported by the team from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and the local state committee.
