2008 AWMRF Research Grants Awarded

In early 2008 the Australian Wound Management Research Foundation (AWMRF) call for it inaugural research scholarship grants totalling $10000. At the recent AWMA Conference in Darwin two AWMRF scholarships were awarded. Congratulations to the following winners:

Professor Zee Upton and Mr James Broadbent, Queensland University of technology for project titled:

'iTRAQing proteins in chronic leg ulcer wound fluid over time from patients undergoing clinical hyperbaric oxygen therapy'

Ms Jillian Swaine, Curtin University of Technology and University of Western Australia for project titled:

'A pilot study to determine factors that are associated with the development of sitting acquired pressure ulcers following spinal cord injury'
