AWMA - Australian Capital Territory
AWMA Australian Capital Territory is the Australian Wound Management Association in the ACT. We are a diverse group of health professionals, whose common interest is the care for our patients with acute and chronic wounds. The association provides education that focuses on a collaborative approach to practice in both wound assessment and management that is supported by validated research and/ or best practice.
Our Objectives
- to promote best practice wound management, using the latest research and materials available
- to develop and maintain a strong network of collaborative relationships with health professionals, professional bodies and key organisations/groups
- to promote education and research, through seminars, workshops and
- to provide strong governance for the Association

... is diverse - and open to everyone! We encourage all disciplines in healthcare for whom wound management is a part of their practice to join and support us in our educational and practical aims.

2011-12 membership subscriptions are now due and the ACT Wound Management Association membership can now be renewed on line. Please click here for on-line subscription.
